Our early season tussle with winter is finally ending, but not before one last blast of Arctic air this weekend :)

Today will be a transition day with increasing clouds and temps topping out around 30F. But a storm system speeding out of the Canadian provinces (a so-called “Alberta Clipper”) will drag the jet stream southward with it which will send temps plunging tonight. Highs tomorrow will only be around 10F. The storm looks like it will mainly target areas to our south but we will likely receive some snow from the northern edge of the storm which could accumulate 1 or 2 inches (maybe up to 3 inches on the southside). This snow will be very lightly and fluffy bc it will be so cold. The snow should end by dinner time tomorrow.

And then Sunday is gonna be bitterly COLD. Temps on Sunday morning will likely dip just below zero and are unlikely to warm much during the day (maybe a high of 10F like Saturday).

But THEN things turn around DRAMATICALLY. A warming trend begins next week which will see afternoon highs rise from about 20F on Monday to the 40s maybe even 50s (!!) by next Thursday and Friday !

Tl;dr - partly cloudy, 30F today. BITTER COLD this weekend. ~1-2” of snow tomorrow, single digits Sun, DRAMATICALLY WARMER next week!
