Well, after one delightfully pleasant late-summer day, the heat is building again today. Skies remain sunny and temps will “only” max out in the mid-80s, but don’t get complacent. The wind shifts again tomorrow and temps will skyrocket into the mid-90s. Dew points will actually be reasonable tomorrow–”only” in the 60s–so it won’t feel QUITE as hot as that heat wave last week, but, lower dew points means the thermometer can climb higher and a 100 degree reading is not out of the question, if not tomorrow, then over the weekend…

High temps tomorrow will crest to between 95 and 100. 98-100 on Saturday and mid-90s again on Sunday. Some powerful t-storms are possible Sunday and Monday which will, – you guessed it! – break the heat :)

Looking much further ahead - it does appear that a SLIGHT taste – a nibble, if you will - of fall is possible NEXT weekend (August 23-26).

Tl;dr - sunny, warm today, High 85. Heatwave tomorrow through Sunday, upper 90s likely. Maybe 100? T-storms Sun, Mon
