After a relatively cool start to the morning, temperatures will warm considerably by this afternoon – into the low 80s. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny.
There is basically no rain in the forecast for at least the next week if not longer. Each of those days is also expected to be quite warm with high temps generally in the 80s for the foreseeable future. Temps near 90 are even possible this weekend!
Even looking very far ahead, the long-range models suggest above-normal temps will continue until October 10 and beyond ?? This is very much in keeping with a pattern I have noticed over the past several years: namely, climate change is delaying the start of fall / winter by nearly a month. (The start of spring is also shifting earlier but that shift is way less noticeable or pronounced).
Tl;dr - hot and sunny weather continues through the end of the month. 80s today, 80s for the foreseeable future.
