After a very warm day yesterday (as expected), several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today. That will suppress temps a bit (highs only around 80F), but dew points will be high so it will definitely feel muggy out there, especially this afternoon and into tonight.

Showers/t-storms will begin sometime mid-afternoon with the heaviest showers expected between 4pm-midnight and then again very early tomorrow morning around sunrise (which is at 5:15am now as we approach the solstice).

The majority of th storm activity shifts to our southeast tomorrow and sun should return for the second half of the day on Saturday.

Storminess may return Sunday and Monday but as we head into the middle of next week, a gigantic summertime ridge of high pressure should push all that unsettled weather out of the picture, welcoming in our first HEAT WAVE of the year.

Tl;ldr - clouds and storms today, especially late. Upper 70s-80. Clearing skies tomorrow, 80s. Storms Mon-Tues, HOT after.
