This insufferably cold start to summer continues this weekend. Cool air pouring southward out of Canada will keep temps stuck in the 60s today (50s by the lake). The sun will be out tho!
Tonight will be quite cool with temps diving all the way down into the 40s. Tomorrow will be a smidge warmer with interior neighborhoods climbing into the low 70s and more lake-adjacent neighborhoods remaining stuck in the 60s.
A major reversal is expected for Monday and Tuesday with a surge of warm air from our south sending temps skyrocketing into the upper 80s to maybe even low 90s? Showers and storms will likely break the heat on Tuesday night and continue through Weds when temps will cool back down to earth. A temperature rollercoaster like this, right at the start of summer like this is pretty wild.
Cool temps are expected to return Weds through Fri of next week. It does look like we’ll finally stabilize at “normal” summer weather by NEXT weekend 🙃
Tl;dr - cool but sunny today. High 65F. Cool tonight, warmer tomorrow. HOT Mon-Tues, t-storms, then cool again Weds.
