Hello and good morning, all!

First, let me apologize; I had no idea that the Weather Text has not been sending to several Android users since Saturday. I suspect that this is due to a bug: I have been working with a group of coding developers for the past few weeks in an effort to Automate and Schedule these texts and I think something happened on Saturday that introduced a bug. When I send the Text from my laptop it indicates on my end that it has been sent to you. However, a few subscribers reached out this morning to say that they have not been receiving it so now I’m baffled.

I am deeply sorry for this inconvenience. Until we figure this out, you will be receiving the Text from this number.

Here is today’s Text:

Patchy high level fog could produce some drizzle this morning, especially near the lake. Speaking of the lake, a powerful northerly breeze blowing across the Lakes will keep temperatures mostly confined to the 40s today. Further inland, temps *could* rise to around 50, however. The sun should emerge from behind the fog this afternoon, but high clouds won’t be far away and will return tomorrow.

Temperatures will be similar on Thursday, though southeasterly winds could help parts of NE Indiana warm into the low 50s.

A major storm system has emerged out of California and is bearing down on Chicagoland. Rain will spread into the area during the morning on Friday and could be heavy at times. A GUSHER of moisture will keep the hose aimed right at Chicago throughout the day on Friday and into Saturday. As the storm pulls away on Saturday, some snow could mix in with the rain (but is unlikely to accumulate). Temperatures will be seasonably cool this weekend, with highs in the 40s.

Sun will return on Sunday. And a warming trend will recommence next week. ✨

Reminder: I will be on vacation in the Philippines from March 9-26 🥥. I will continue to send the Text but in case of a hiccup, all texts are archived here: bit.ly/weathertextdatabase
